Graduation Program
Profile Information and Examples
Graduates Profiles are paragraphs of your graduate and can include their accomplishments, hobbies, or where they are headed. They are a small way that we can get to know your graduate and highlight them in the Graduation Program.
1. Read through the example profiles.
2. Write your student's profile into a word processor like Microsoft Word.
3. Check the word count to make sure it is not over 300 words. Because of the number of graduates, we have to keep the word count to 300 max. If it is too long, it will be sent back for you to re-write.
4. Use a program, such as grammarly, to check your spelling, punctuation, verb tenses, and any other grammar issues.
5. Read, re-read, and have someone else read and re-read the profile. (Tip: Have someone read it out-loud to you to hear how it sounds to someone else.)
6. Copy and Paste the profile into this form.
7. Read it again, yes again, to make sure that it pasted correctly.
*We will do our best to fix grammar and spelling mistakes, but please do your best to catch these before submitting.
Thank you for your attention to detail on these!

Sample Graduate 1
Sample Graduate, oldest of three, and with long, brown curls, was born Christmas Day to young, but terribly happy and blessed parents! She has ever been an old soul, who loves old things, and like an extra parent to her younger siblings. Throughout her life, she was constantly being found reading a book, singing a song, or drawing. At a very young age, she was diagnosed with failure to thrive and struggled to grow due to multiple illnesses, and a life-threatening food allergy. Though she has known hurt, frustration, isolation, and great fear, she has grown to trust God as only someone He has brought through great trials can. Sample continues her vast love of reading! She devours books like candy and is particularly fond of Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and fantasy, particularly fantasy with dragons. She also has continued her love of singing, is now involved in choir, and has been playing the organ since middle school. She fiercely loves her brother and sister. She loves to spend time with her childhood friends, laughing, catching up, and creating together. She draws, writes stories, and cuddles with her two big pups. Though we will miss her being home, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parents are so incredibly proud of her! We know God will continue to bless her and others, through her, as she goes on to Tennessee Technological University to study Spanish (and possibly other languages). We love you, Sample!!
Sample Graduate 2
Sample Graduate has been a member of the Chattanooga Girl's Choir for 10 years which was instrumental in sparking her love for music. Joining the CSTHEA Homeschool Players helped her realize her true love and calling to music as a career. She has been blessed to be a part of five shows with Homeschool Players including: Ruddigore (chorus), The Gondoliers (The Duchess of Plaza-Toro), Princess Ida (Melissa) The Pirates of Penzance (Edith), and The Yeoman of the Guard (Elsie Maynard). Caroline is also a proud member of the Civil Air Patrol and the Color Guard team at her squadron. Through this involvement, she has been blessed with many life-changing experiences and opportunities. Caroline plans to attend Lee University as a vocal performance major. She hopes to audition as a member of the Singing Sergeants in the United States Air Force's Premier Band. As we look back over highschool, we can see many things that Caroline would not have planned, but the Lord has demonstrated time and time again His sovereignty, goodness, and glory in His leading. Whatever she does in the future she prays it would be God's will and not her own.
Sample Graduate 3
Sample Graduate has always been a very talented and mature young lady. She has been homeschooled for her entire life and has been involved in various activities over the years such as Chattanooga Girls Choir, gymnastics, and the youth choir at her church. She also loves to cook and explore healthy ways of eating. We first noticed that she was a nurturer when her sister, who is 22 months younger, was born. She loved taking care of her siblings from a very young age. She has taken every opportunity to be with children ever since by babysitting and helping with VBS. She is also very active in her church and is a role model in the youth department, pouring into the younger grades and helping in the children's ministry. Her plans after graduation are to pursue a certification as a postpartum doula, which will enable her to continue to share her love of children and be an encourager to new moms. She is a follower of Jesus, first, and we know that that will guide her successfully into adulthood.
Sample Graduate 4
Sample Graduate was born on May 30, 2002, the youngest of three children. Easy-going and social, Sample could also be quite content to play alone. It was through his quiet play as a child that Sample discovered his talent for art, starting with what we lovingly termed his “electric jellyfish” (people) and expanding to include dozens of drawings, paintings, and sculptures. Art is his passion and he plans to further pursue that passion in college. Homeschooling has allowed Sample to explore his talents in many ways. Growing up in and around the theater, he’s played principal roles in Chattanooga Ballet’s The Nutcracker, acted with the Homeschool Shakespeare Troupe since 2010 and Hilger Higher Learning since 2012. He is a gifted violinist and is a member of CSO’s Youth Orchestra. Additionally, Sample has been active in Little League Baseball and Rec League Football, 4-H Service and Archery clubs, Mock Trial, and HHL Choir. Sample is a joyous young man who loves his friends and respects the wisdom of his elders. He’s always willing to give his help without question or fuss. He loves his Lord and seeks to follow Him in all his endeavors. We are so proud of all that Sample is and all that he will do with God’s help!
