Jamie Gilliand, Athletics Director
Jamie has served as Athletic Director for the Patriots athletic program for the past four years and has been involved with the program for more than 12 years, beginning when her oldest son joined Patriots soccer as a fifth grader. Married for over 25 years and the mother of six children, Jamie views Patriots Athletics as a ministry that helps homeschool student-athletes grow in their faith, character, and athletic abilities while honoring Christ. She is excited about the continued growth of the program and the opportunities it provides for students and families. While she loves watching athletes develop and succeed, the hardest part of her role each year is saying goodbye to the graduating seniors she has watched grow into young men and women of character and faith.

"I taught a biblical-based course on servant leadership to young supervisors to develop their leadership skills. I've been a deacon for over 25 years at my former church in Marietta, GA. A year & half ago, I moved to Chattanooga and married Teresa Sharp. I've always enjoyed teaching young people new skills in sports and watching them grow and improve. Sports build character."

Experience: Played football, and basketball, and ran track and cross country for Unioto Sherman High School. During his Junior year, he came to know the Lord. Joined the United States Navy and God directed him to bring the gospel to his fellow service members. After proudly serving for 22 years, he works for Volkswagon which allows him to pursue coaching. He has coached at Ooltewah Youth Association and Ooltewah High School before joining the Patriot's coaching staff.

Over the last 8 years, Coach Kevin has coached Football, Baseball and Basketball teams at the select and recreational levels. He feels that coaching is a calling and is blessed to be able to fulfill this calling with the Patriots! Coach Kevin is excited to work with young men to develop character, resilience and toughness while having fun playing the game of football. Elder at Concord Baptist Church where his family has attended for 17 years. Husband to his lovely wife, Jess and father to 4 amazing kids!

He and Robin are active in their own running pursuits, completing races from 5K's to the IRONMAN 70.3. Their children are rising 10th, 9th, 8th and 3rd graders.. They appreciate your patience as they keep all the plates spinning - or laces tied, as the case may be!
